At school, I found I actually prefer the weekdays to the weekends.  Scary, no?

It's because I associate value with the meaning something has, whether an accomplishment in a videogame, finishing a compelling story (reading or writing), or deepening a friendship/relationship.  Heck, even class discussions and work has meaning.  But on college weekends ( Read more... )

The Frisbee season ended on a good note.  The B-team performed as usual (played hard, got beat), but the A-team did very well.  We were all impressed.

Classes are going fine.  I've just gotta get started on finals and such.  The hardest part is getting motivated to begin.

Well, tonight, for the good of my physical and social health (and for my grades too) I kicked my World of Warcraft habit.  I deleted it from my college computer and went cold turkey.  I figure I'll wean myself down with the regular video games I grew up with.
