It's funny how life likes to work things out. Here I was all set for leaving this town and now I'm looking for a new apartment with my girlfriend. So, the government changed their minds. Now my application can be processed, apparently! Yes apparently because the lawyer who have invoice us for an additional $3600 for the finale in this whole process haven't told me this. Green card update
Wooo! Final stage here we come! I'm now busying myself with getting the papers together, medical exam, blah, blah, blah. July 1st will hopefully see the final stage of my green card application. With any luck I'll hear back within 2-3 months. -

I just got my first credit card here! About f*$king time. A whopping $400 limit but it's a start. That must mean I actually have a credit history now - yea! -
Bad surf days are sometimes awesome
SB summer surfing is lame at best but it has it perks. Dia and I have been going out when normally I would hop back in the car and opt to sleep in the park instead. Crappy waves they may be but no crowds. That means we get to catch the few decent waves without having to weave in between everyone else. Green Card Update
I *might* have my green card in a matter of months. Ian just forwarded me the latest bulletin from the INS and they are now processing applications from JUN 05. Our posted application dates were DEC 05. The processing backlog has jumped significantly in the past few months from AUG 03 ( Read more... ) -

I'm confused! I both love and hate new beginnings and their uncertainty. I guess I'll just go with the flow as of right now, I have no idea!
