What was I reading last? Oh that's right - Ghostwritten, which was very good. Not as great as Cloud Atlas or even Black Swan Green, but then again it was David Mitchell's first novel. I was thinking a few days ago that I've given my parents a raw deal - or at least I used to - which I guess is a sign of either maturity or that I was a bitchy adolescent. Probably both. I finished Family Pictures, as well as Val Holley's James Dean: The Biography. The latter was recommended to me by my professor who taught my Beat Generation seminar last fall; I had been given a different, lesser James Dean biography by a friend for my 21st birthday (no fault of his, of course). I just finished reading Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, by Robert M. Pirsig.
