Another possible job no longer possible. I was going to be a nanny for the month of August for a couple of really enjoyable kids-when their out-of-town aunt showed up. Luckily I got one day babysitting for someone else out of it, but think about it: I have a BA and I’m babysitting. ( Read more... )

Hey, I can definitely relate. I have a BA in English too, but no job to speak of. I've been with my parents for the last month. Maybe we could sit on the street together. If we're not weeping we can start some sort of musical duet. I can play a mean kazoo.

I can wistle like it's no one's business. Or, better yet, we could start a company. Do you have any skills?

I've been babysitting--We could start a Baby Sitter's Club for out-of-work college grads!

my god.
but i know we aren't the only ones hard up for money. you'd think in this job market, we could get free money from the government.
since i have the job i want throughout the school year, and there are only three weeks left, i've abandonned the whole thing altogether.
i've been looking for any additional source of income since school ended. you'd think it wouldn't be this hard.
