So I have never really liked church all that much. I mean there have been waves of times where I may have been happy at one church or another, but I find it really hard to agree with a lot of the teachings. I also find it boring and uncomfortable, in more than one way. Not only physically uncomfortable because of the pews, but socially

I used to really resent going to church when I was younger, I was really angry at religion in general.
Now, every time I come to tennesee, I still have to go to church. However, even if my parents didn't make me go, I still would. I don't see it as a religious thing, but as a family activity. Granted, it's a family activity I don't really enjoy, but still.

I do enjoy christmas mass, though. I like the ceremony, the christmas hymns, the incense and tradition. Even if I don't subscribe to christian doctrines, I still find the story and devotion somewhat beautiful.
