Taking a laptop to class has some drawbacks. Occasionally it tempts me to distraction. I'm not in the habit of writing fiction (you know, aside from all the compulsive lying), but one day, a while back, producing this seemed like more fun than paying attention to another Population Biology lecture.

I passed my junior qualifying exam. Which is Reed's way of saying that while I am still worthless scum when compared to, say, a graduate student, I am no longer entirely unlike a real biologist. I'm now considered awesome enough to start worrying about a senior thesis.
