I know what ya mean. I've been uninsured for a year, and stupid enough to participate in violent activities like karate. I'm surprised I haven't wound up in an emergency room with a broken arm or something.

yeah, (and I'm about to state the obvious, but) it's stuff like this that illustrates insurance companies are big business and not out to actually help anyone unless there's profit involved.
pity parties are the best, you don't even have to send out RSVPs, you don't need an excuse everyone has these moments.

i dont understand insurance. but i do know that there are all kinds of state covered plans. they really suck, but I'm sure whatever private insurance you could afford would really suck too. plus, if you're a full time student you should be able to get it through school, and school insurance always seems to be a little bit better for what you're paying.

I hope things work out for you. I was in a pretty shitty place for quite a while and things finally panned out. Soon you'll look back and say, "I was worried for nothing." :)
