Looks like it's been almost a whole year since my last trip. Well, I'm about to alleviate that by hiking into Kearsarge Pass in the eastern Sierras next week. Bought a lightly used toyota matrix a few months back. Which of course means the beloved Jeep is no longer with us. I saw Synecdoche with Phillip Seymour Hoffman a month ago (on Kristy & my first date anniversary btw) and it reminded me of livejournal.

The film is brilliant, but I hated watching it. I might see it again in a few years.
Anyone else have an opinion. At least you can thank it (or blame it) for me posting again.

I'm getting promoted and moving to a wilderness park. No more of this regional park bullshit of checking bounce house permits for birthday parties. It's real ranger work for me from now on- invasive plant control, interpretive programs, animal tracking and the like. Only downside is the commute is going to be almost 27 miles each way.
