Have you read the Gaijin Smash blog? It's written by an African American guy who goes to Japan to teach. I have spent many hours reading it. It's fascinating! Here's the link. It's in reverse chronological order, so you have to scroll all the way down and keep scrolling and scrolling and scrolling to get to the beginning. That's assuming you ever have any free time! :)
