One Flickr account later, I've got my Terrastock photos up. Here's the link to the 48 photos I took. Lots of heads in these photos (hey, this is head music after all, right?) but at least you can roughly make our their physical characteristics...as expected, the Kemialliset Ystavat pictures are easily the best of the lot, and I like the manic out- ( Read more... )

heh I like the sign.
Is Larkin Grimm on the left? who is the person she's playing with?

In high school one person used to comment all the time that I listened to "music made by people in prison"; I think he got this impression by glimpsing a Dan Johnston stress cassette.

yeah, larkin is the one on the left - she mentioned the other lady's name a few times, who incidentally only lives on the other side of atlanta from me although i've never heard of her before - larkin's only known her for a few months or so but she convinced her to join her onstage - and the girls sitting on the floor were larkin's "beautiful babes of spring", harmonizing with her to imitate some of the effects that are on her CD - the one closest to them is actually larkin's sister...

My photos were terrible, so I just stole yours - as you probably noticed by now - and linked to them from my page. Hope you don't mind. I started to email you many times, but my computer kept crashing - a lovely development that greeted me when I got home (but that helped me in keeping my promise to limit computer time).

I loved Twisted Village - but after I left decided I had better stay away from CD shopping the rest of the trip. I did go to Skippy White's, so I wasn't totally true to my word, but I was pretty good. I need to balance CDs with...I don't...life, or something. But TV was wonderful. Really great place.

oh, no problem at all on the photos - i rather like how flickr has a counter that shows how many times the set has been visited - i saw a jump that occurred once you mentioned it - i think there were as many visitors who came from your page as there were from mine - hmm, does that mean that the majority of my friends don't want to see my lovely pictures?? perish the thought ( ... )
