OH! I was so worried for a moment! Thankfully Brendan worked it out in the end! with a little help from Emmett!

Thank you! Brendan always struck me as being a workaholic and I figured that would turn out to be a problem in a relationship.

The trials of living with someone constantly on call, does make for some huge rows. It took me ages to get to where Emmett is in this, I used to constantly wonder where my hubby was. It was nice to see this take on there relashionship. Im glad Brendan got his head out of his a** though!

Thank you! I figured Emmett would be very Zen about Brendan working late and running off at a moments notice. I thought it might be interesting if Brendan turned out to be the one having a problem with it.

This For all that he was easy-going when awake, he slept like he was at war with the covers every night made me laugh out loud. *grins*

I loved this little glimpse into their lives and I could very easily see it happening like this, Brendan getting so caught up in work (though I could just as easily see it happening from Emmett's side too - they both have workaholic written all over them *snerk*) and being frustrated by it and taking it out on Emmett. I'm so glad you gave Brendan the wake up call he needed. *G*

I'm so glad you like the story. I wasn't sure it would work, but I wanted to show the struggles of a new relationship.

I have no doubt that Emmett could be just as much a workaholic as Brendan, he is dedicated to his research.

The ending didn't quite turn out the way I expected, so I'm happy it worked for you!

As much as I love fluffy, happy stories, it's nice to read where the characters have real relationship problems and work them out.

Thank you! First time stories are fun to do, but it's a nice change to write a story with an established relationship. I'm glad it worked!
