Well, owing to the fact that my second logo comp wasn't to the CEO's liking on the second day, I was fired. The irony of it is that they hadn't gotten the software I needed in yet, so I'd taken it upon myself to bring in my own copies so I would be able to do my job ( Read more... )

I still keep kind of rolling my eyes at myself for hastening my own departure by bringing in software from home. And here I was worried I wouldn't have time for my freelance or writing. *rolls her eyes*

It would've been nice, if it had nothing to do with me, if someone had said that. "Sorry, it turns out we don't have as much work for you to do right now as we thought." That's cool. But as it stands it just seems... insane.

I'm not even sure what to tell the workforce commission. I mean, if he didn't like the logo, I guess he had a right to fire me? That's not how it usually works, but I'm not sure ignorance is actually a crime in this case ;)
