I would like to apologise to any Guardian readers I may have inadvertently offended with my last post. The apple acolytes still piss me off to the point of not wanting to buy the product because of them though. -

This weekend is the British Jazz Showcase here in Glasgow. I likes me a bit of jazz but don't know a lot so I thought ideal opportunity to hear some new tunes. Three nights of the best jazz in the UK apparently, a tenner a night or twenty quid for all three. Someone brought this to my attention and it's absolutely superb. All the balls of the original, and then some - a brilliant rendition of a classic. Which coincidentally I was listening to on the way home today. Spooky.

Kelvingrove, drawing and classes
I've been saying I'd do it for ages but today I finally got my arse in gear and took sketching stuff down the Kelvingrove.
