he is such a hippy (at least in his appearence) + he reminds me of Charlie because he's quiet and has long hair and a reddish beard = Charlie is such a hippy (at least in his appearance). :p
I can definitely empathize with (erroneously?) thinking that relationships start as friendships and get progressively more intense, more specifically that that has caused my friends to stay friends. There seems to be a fine line between developing a friendship and developing a relationship, and it seems that I have no clue how to "develop a relationship". The thing is- I don't know if I want to develop a relationship with somebody until after I know them pretty well, until after I've developed a friendship. And by that point it's too late, they think of me as a friend, and all hope is lost. ...My intention in starting to write about all that was to maybe help a little, but I guess I didn't. You seem to have everything pretty well figured out. Let me know how it goes!
