Maia to be euthanized...

I am so incredibly sad today...after a long, painful discussion with my husband, we have come to an awful decision. I'll be calling the vet tomorrow to make an appointment to have my poor Maia euthanized

Aw, Poor Maia. My cat Sunshine is about 12 now. I can't believe it's been that long. I'll be sad the day she goes. I feel bad her last years I'm cramming a new kitty, Spooky, down her throat. lol I hate it when pets die, I still miss my dog and it's been a good 12 years since. :(

I have lots of ashes of old animals in my house. I hurt for you, but do it before she loses here dignity completely. God speed Maiai.

im so sorry. I just lost my 12 year old cockatiel who quite literally was my daughter. I had her from 5 weeks old, finished her hand feeding, and she was my constant companion. She very unlike her squeezed out of a badly closed screen door- I believe to go off and die to spare me that image. She never liked it outside and avoided all doors and windows her entire life- why else would she just leave?

I miss her horribly and my only comfort is that she is at the rainbow bridge with my cocker spainel who she loved to pick on-waiting for me.
