Last week-
John and I walked around Capitol Hill in Seattle (no capital there!) and then had dinner at a place called Tamarind Tree. They had this giant orange umbrella tent set up with braziers and other burning torches that we got lucky enough to sit in. People look beautiful in the firelight.

Sleepy mareep is sleepy in Seattle
I seem to have dodged the storm (Sandy) unintentionally. I did get a day off work about that, though. My thoughts are with my parents who have no power. There are apparently downed power lines on our not-well-traveled street.

Aralis! We managed to do most of the things planned, and I had a good nap so was in a pretty positive frame of mind for Saturday night and Sunday morning. ...and it's already Aralis time again! After this I can rest for a while, right? I'll have two and a half weeks to work on music hopefully before I go to Seattle. By that time I may have an idea when/where I'm moving next year.
