The other thing is that 9/11 conspiracy theories are so fascinating, some pretty ridiculous and all a waste of time because the likelihood of ever finding out the truth is about 1/100th the odds we find out about JFK

Thanks Murphy and thanks Popular Mechanics for making me feel better about this. I still think that our government does a good job of emphasizing the terror aspect and the evil jihadists while ignoring the causes of terrorism (whether justified or not), their somewhat inept response to the attacks on the day they occurred, and of course the disastrous sidetrack into Iraq that has hurt our military and national security. Ridiculous.
For the record, I think the planes unlocked an evil portal in the space-time fabric that released fire demons and steel-eaters and well as the devil, which brought the towers down. Luckily, Giuliani is an angel of God and rescued the USA from satan. Good work, Rudy. Rudy. Rudy. Rudy.....
Murphy, where is the Popular Mechanics, or Soldiers of Fortune, or Guns & Ammo magazine analysis of the JFK assassination?

laura's sister gave us a documentary on how a lot of people think it was a controlled demolition. it was pretty convincing to me, but not for laura since she laughed at me. the one thing i found wrong with this documentary was that the experts they had were philosophy professors...
yeah, yeah, i'm l***ing your b*llspsychrofonSeptember 9 2006, 04:24:58 UTC
yeah, the popular mechanics thing and some other stuff i looked at seemed to straighten me out. its kinda fun to get ensconced in a conspiracy theory though, ya know? i was reading a noam chomsky piece about how the "pop culture" JFK thing is that he was shot by the CIA because he wanted to get out of vietnam, and he was a prescient hero, but the tapes released reveal he had no such plans.
anyway, looking into conspiracy theories at 3:30 AM should be punishable with laps around the gym.
