I just want to add that this experience combined with my success in the painting class I took during Spring 2008, where I got an A for the first time in a Studio Art class has really heightened my confidence as an artist. I had a lot of fun and success in that class. It was the ray of light in an otherwise very challenging and depressing year. I struggled to do really well or least pass all my classes, especially a math class I really needed to pass as a prerequisite to take and important statistics class for my psychology major. In the end I got an A in my spanish class a C in my biology class and a D in the math class. I am the statistics course in the Fall semester, along with a linguistics class, a figure painting class and an art history class about ancient Peru. I struggled so hard to achieve these grades. So much crying and whining, but in the end I was alright.

I had and still have doubts about my skills, but that ok because so does everyone else and we all have to struggle to get what we want.

Sounds like you made some real headway!;)I think art is something that evolves for every artist and it never stops;it sounds to me like you're evolving too, which is always a good thing!;)And it's great to see you back in lj after such a long time!!:)♥
