I had my graduation ceremony on Saturday! It was great. I was very happy to finally graduate and have my college education done. My parents visited and attended the ceremony and brought me a cake to congradulate me. :D

Hello! My summer classes ended about 2 weeks ago. I got a B in my Children's Literature Class and a B- in Spanish Civilization Class. My sister got A's in both classes! I'm so happy for her. Hello! I'm currently in a good mood. 2 weeks ago I finished my class for the first session of summer classes. I got a B! It was a biology and it is officially the last natural science class I will ever take. Feels so good to have gotten it out of the way! YAY! I took my last final exam last Friday and on Monday I came to Houston to spend a few days with my parents. Next Monday I'll go back to Austin. My summer classes will start on June 1 so for now I'm just enjoying the break time.

It has been a whirlwind of a semester. In short, throught this year I have been struggling to balance my PSY418 class with my other classes. I've decided that I am going to leave Psychology as a major and and just keep going as a Studio Art major. Yesterday my aunt passed away. It hasn't quite hit me yet, probably because I haven't seen her in 9 years. I think the last time I spoke to her was this summer. I just hope our family can band together and be strong for my mother and grandparents.

I finally got the icon to work. I feel so silly for not trying to make it my default userpic sooner after ladyithildiel was dear enough to make for me as a present. I was just so busy before I didn't really think about it. But after awhile I just started to feel naked without an icon. I'm so happy, its gorgeous!

OMG! I just found out I got an A in my Painting 2 class! I never thought I would get an A in that class because of how much I struggled in the beginning. I thought I would get a C or D. I also got an A in my Intro to Theater class, although I already knew that. I still don't what grade I have in Intermediate Drawing. I'm still so happy!!!

During the first part of summer I took a pretty fun Intro to theater class. It really interesting learning about theater and the subtext about a lot of plays. I actually felt confident verbally participating in this class and I enjoyed watching clips of plays movie adaptations and documentaries and hearing other student's insights.
