Very nice. I really liked how you build this story and the emotions between both of them. Though it starts with the chamalla, it's really so much more.

Wow, that was beautiful. I could absolutely see that conversation happening. Scratch that, your writing is so descriptive that I DID see that conversation happening.

And the phrase "bullet-imposed sabbatical" is pure genius.
