Results of the Poetry Challenge

Nov 08, 2008 15:42

Remember? I gave you the first stanza of a poem and asked you to find a title and compose a second stanza.
Well, all right, I was not very lucky in finding participants here ;) but I will still keep my word and post the original poem along with the results. They are surely worth it! Thanks, elle_icit !!! Your throne still has not been broken *g*

Pure genius behind the cut... :) )

thoughts, music, poetry, fun stuff

Hmm, but only if we are really fair and also share it with Lennie. ;)

*LOL* Ok...bit of a tight squeeze here though...*squashing over* you'll have to sit on his lap...or him on yours......You don't mind that right? :-)))

I think since he probably weighs less than I do ;), hes hould sit on mine. And no, I don't mind. As long as he brings his black guitar... ;)

Dearest, I would have participated. I tried, I tried so hard... *LOL* I just wasn't successful. *LOL* Yours and Elle's are pure genius, though. (And, of course, Len's.)

Substitute poem... or poem substitute:

Any rhyme
I write
turns out
a crime
try
as I might.
*pout*

Ahhh, not bad. Be welcome in our Temple to the Muses *lol* Somewhat reminds me of a stubborn child's homework *g*
Of course it will be included in the list above :)

*LOL*, stubborn child's homework? You are mistaken... my heart was bleeding while I wrote that... *sob*... :-)

Oh my, you poor thing. With so much melancholy and self-consciousness in your heart, you should actually have been able to match Lennie's tone in "Poem". *rofl* Hey, maybe you will soon write the next "Suzanne" ;)

Yes, yes... I will in a minute.

"the next "Suzanne""

See I've written it. :-)

I am impressed! When will you go on a World Tour?

Does it suffice to write "a World Tour" on a piece of paper, throw it on the floor and... erm... go on it?

Hmmm, I am afraid it does - not very satisfying though.
