I have discovered a new bookstore/coffee shop that suits me, gotten textbooks that I'd read anyway, partaken of Sushi Avenue's awesome menu, and spent some time with the friends I'd been missing. Later, I'm hosting a tea party and then going out for some live music.

Wow, things have been hectic. I'm starting to care again. Quite possibly the cruelest thing anyone's done to me happened on Tuesday. I've been reading fanfic. Went to the barn. For those of you that I don't usually contact in any other manner: I miss you.

The surgery had indicated that all news from here on would be very bad. However, the test results from yesterday came back clean. The oncologist says that my dad's going to live to a ripe old age. (Must verify that said oncologist does not believe that 63 is a ripe old age, but I am happy anyway!)
