I called Sen. Libous earlier today. I couldn't find anything on him specific to this vote, but he apparently introduced legislation not even a month ago to keep New York from recognizing same-sex marriages made in states where they are already legal, so I figured it was worth making the call.

Phone number is 518-455-2677, for anybody else in his district.

Goodness; I never thought I'd be holding my breath so long for just one more vote. As I live in Queens none of these are my direct representatives, but you can be sure as hell I will spam their phone lines at a more decent hour.

HERE'S TO BIG FLOOFY WHITE DRESSES!

You SHOULD get your floofy white dress! :D I would call, but sadly a) Ohio and b) like two months under voting age. Two months, man.

...And yet I'm already getting flak from fellow churchmembers for voting 'yes' to same-sex marriage polls on facebook. Awesome.

But, sending good thoughts~

Couldn't get through to my senator's offices by phone.  I hope that means he's being inundated with calls to vote "yea."  I did however find his Facebook page and posted a note there.  Here's hoping!

Oh and Puel, Mith, if this goes through, Nene & I are getting invitations.
