Just gave my new CDs a good listen. Results were, predictably, mixed.
I think maybe I actually like this Liz Phair album LESS than the last one. I liked about half of the last one and at least you could sort of sing along and dance to the 'pop' tracks. Somebody's Miracle is just boring. Like, I wanted it to be over so I could move on to something ( Read more... ) -

Royce and I went sailing today, which was fun. Pictures to come, if the cat didn't ruin the disposable camera. I like getting birthday flowers, but I'm not sure if I can have them anymore with Che the Destroyer around. Sad times. -

So, for the last week or so, I've had Led Zepplin's Levee Song in my head. I couldn't get it out. And then somebody totally played it on the radio today, which seemed a little inappropriate. So far, though, I haven't heard that one that's like, "Here I am / Rock you like a hurricane!"
