So, um, does that invitation extend to old middle school buddies whom you haven't talked to in awhile and haven't seen in even longer? ;) Not that I particularly want to drive up to Tallahassee, I just wanted an excuse to comment on your lj and say hi.
This is Lauren, by the way. And you know, I STILL have and use that keychain you gave me in what, the sixth grade?
Of course it does! You should come up anyway. I'll get ahold of you next time I'm in Orlando and we can catch up on life. That's awesome that you still have that keychain. Kinda gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. :)
Well don't change too much! Keep in mind, it's the old you most of us know and love.
Congratulations on getting out of your dorm! I've never lived in one, but I imagine it feels pretty good to leave it behind you. They're kind of cramped, aren't they?
Valentine's Day sucked for me too. It such a pointless holiday, I swear.
Good luck with your documentary! Oh, and what was up with that car crash picture?? I hope everyone's all right.
Yeah, I know, but I've got some issues with the old me. Don't think of it as change so much as progression. Evolution. The dorms are ridiculously cramped. It's so much better off campus (parking issues aside). It's not pointless for the chocolate/greeting card/flower industry though! Thanks, I'll definitely need all of the luck I can get. As for the picture, everyone's fine. Except for my car.
OMG I'm sorry about the vehicular damage. :( I hope everyone involved is okay, though!
And whatever changes are on the horizon, well, good for you! It's tough to face down change with that kind of willingness to see it through, especially when you have no idea what those changes are going to be or mean. (Whatever happens, I hope it makes that second little "smiley" face go away for good...)
Congrats on escaping dorm life and best wishes for your documentary! :) Take care!
Everyone was fine, the other only had a scratch. But now I can't drive at night (got a ticket last week trying to sneak home) and it's going to be a pain in the ass to fix. The hardest part, I think, is that I'm going to have to be the one to make those changes, which is kind of a Catch-22 because I don't know what changes I need to make. We'll see what happens though. Thank you. I'll try to get a copy of the documentary to you somehow after it's all done. Hope all's well!
