I had an idea in my head for today's picture, but I wound up going for a walk in the park with my aunt and her puppy, and I decided to bring a doll along just in case I saw a photo-op there instead. I could not be happier with how things turned out.

( Hope you're not sick of Sad Sally dolls yet! )

This is so beautiful, I can't stop looking at it. It feels so serene and relaxing. It captures the feeling of an autumn day perfectly. I love your little backstory behind this picture as well. It's always nice when things remind us of our childhood. Looking at the picture and reading your story really makes me want to experience an autumn day like that too. We have wooded areas around here but not really anything you can walk through. It would be nice to walk through a place completely surrounded by the changing autumn leaves. :)

I'm glad you like it, and can see what I was trying to accomplish with this picture.

Autumn is the one time of year that I'm happy/proud to live in the area that I do. There's next to nothing to do here, but this time of year it's the perfect place to be for the fall foliage and autumn activities at farms and the like.
