I really like how everything stood out in this picture. I was having a hard time deciding where to set it up, but I feel like there were just enough leaves and stuff in the background in this spot to really make it perfect.
I've actually never really noticed that about Target putting stuff on sale before the holidays, as everything seems to sell so quickly here I usually have to stalk them for weeks and then buy as soon as they've set the stuff up. That is definitely good to know though, especially with lights and stuff. If something stops working before the holiday, you can replace it without spending a fortune. I still can't believe how short of a time it only existed in Canada.
I love this so much! I think it's one of my favorites this month so far. One of my favorite parts of October is seeing all of the new decorations and getting some new additions to the "Halloween family". This photo reminds me a lot of that aspect of October. Alana seems very happy with her own little Halloween family. She looks so content and at peace here. Her friends look like they're very loyal to her as well. These kind of decorations are my absolute favorite. I have these figurals too. I hope Target continues producing them but adds in new styles like a mummy, a Frankenstein, a witch, etc....
This might be my favorite so far too. I definitely see a lot of myself in this picture, and that's probably where the peaceful feeling comes from, she's just so happy to have them all! I do wish they'd added some different types of characters this year though, rather than just switching the owl to a bat. The ghost in particular looks very similar to last year's.
