You're really making it tempting for me to go out and buy a nice planner! I always end up forgetting to write my plans in them, though.. I'm really not good at keeping a proper planner.

I know what you mean, though! To be honest, until last year it had been a while since I'd kept an actual planner. I was religious about it in high school, but once I got to college I just wrote everything on my syllabuses for each class rather than in my calendar. I think buying a nice planner like the one have motivated me to use it properly; I'd spent the money, after all. Now I can't live without it. :)

I love the feeling I get when I start a new planner. Truly a fresh start.

I so agree! I even love the fresh first pages of a regular old notebook, hehee.

Sounds familiar; Relatedly, I bought a Moleskine journal while I was at the art supply store buying matboard and mounting tissue a few weeks ago, and I get the feeling that I'm not going to use it very much (if ever!); my 97¢ Mead composition notebook from Target has seriously been the best paper journal I've ever had. *

That Moleskine photo is pretty! And so is last year's 'edition'. I'm really glad I've forgotten to start writing in mine so far, because I think I'll make a bit more effort with it this year than I did last year. Especially if it can look half as good as yours.

Haha, you see, this is why you should come to Norway; all Norwegian men cooks like Andreas Viestad, you know. *cough*

*I'm creepy, and I know it. :-/ But it was a total coincidence that I saw that entry.

Oh my, I guess I'm eating my own words now! Seriously, I don't know what I'd do without that little Moleskine book, although I still use those 97¢-ers all the time, hehee. (And so not creepy, just very funny!)

The only other TV chef I like as much as I like Andreas Viestad is Claus Meyer from Denmark... I don't understand quite what it is about those little Scandinavian men that I find so lovable!

1. Your handwriting is really pretty!
2. You've reminded me to finally buy my Moleskine planner now.
3. Those are some seriously good new year's resolutions.
