Tonight I had my life threatened for looking at someone's girlfriend. The dood told me if he ever saw me again, he would kill me. I dont quite know how to explain how i felt about this, but i simply told him, I look at all beautiful girls, and that if his girl was in fact beautiful, I would look at her again. You got it about right. You didn't back down, you said you'd do it again and showed how you didn't even know which girl was his.

the only thing I might have added was: "you are threatening my life for looking at your GF?" and perhaps a "grow up", though I admit this might have prompted a fight.

Frankly, it sounds like he was looking for a fight, and it might have had very little to do with his actual GF. People who look for fights, should find them, but only when highly out-classed so they get what they deserve (and perhaps learn to NOT look for fights).
I don't really think you should go around being the guy that teaches other people to not fight though, so what you did was the right way.

I think i should have told him, not to threaten me. The conversation ended "IF I SEE YOU AGAIN i WILL KILL YOU" and i replied, "GUESS SO". I think next time something like that happens i will just grab his hand and break it. Meh... this is going to bother me for a while.

Sounds like dude has an inferiority complex, can you imagine how terrified he must be every time he goes somewhere with his girlfriend? Gotta stay sharp at all times, ready to rumble with all the looky loos.

Sounded like you did the right thing for that situation. You never know what X factors could pop up, right? I mean granted, you would have been in the right had you punched him in the face, (and it would have probably did him some good) but this sounds like the kind of prick that would have taken out the fact that he was newtered in public on his girlfriend.

Well thats just it, the dood seemed like he was raging out, prolly high on coke... i just dont want to be complacent when the situation demands it. I be confused. Thanks for your opinion, it gives me something further to think on.
