Holidays and Nights
Holidays can make people do crazy things. Let it be known that this winter break, starting immediately after Thanksgiving and going all the way up to Christmas Eve, I listened to Bing Crosby’s “Mele Kalikimaka” forty-seven times. If you loved me, you'd be coming to LA and not LV.

It's okay, I'll give you six months to come visit me before you're out of the will.

I was in Hawaii for a week right before Christmas...

I will forever hate that song.

strange how those elitist exclusive "tough to get into" parties wind up harboring half the gay population of l.a. - while the rest of us flee to san francisco to be spared the humiliation of being home alone on new years eve.

I don't really think it was all that elitist, and really, most parties turn out that way. I had a fine time there, too. I'm sure you would have gone if you had been in LA, of course.

And as I recall, you were neither home, nor alone on NYE.

Of course, I guess I should be humiliated for having stayed home the year prior -- ? Curiously enough, however, I feel no shame for that.

You better not feel any shame! Just think about who you were with.

No, shame for last year, for having stayed home.

Yes and I have photographic evidence to prove it.

I love my sweater, in the right contexts of course, but it's like wearing a marshmallow. So soft.
