There is a new bill proposing changes to the State of Washington Liquor laws. There are many horrible ideas in it, the worst being the elimination of all ages shows at venues with alcohol. This means no more all ages shows at the Showbox, Chop Suey, Neumo's, Hell's Kitchen, etc, etc

All ages shows at drinking venues in Indiana suck pretty damned hard. It's a version of apartheid that always results in ridiculous conflicts. Attempts at keeping the boozing in one area can really destroy the mood of a rock-show.

Seeing how things are here I'd encourage you to preserve your scene.

inevitably these people wanting to shut down all ages shows are the ones who either never got invited to them when they themselves were underage or their parents were much too in cahoots with God to let them go.
