I don't consider myself to be an overly materialistic person, but it's been more than three months since all my things were packed away, and I miss them. They are hanging out in a nearby warehouse right now. My pretty things, my useful things, my bazillion books which are guaranteed to satisfy whatever imagination craving I may have

I don't think it is materialism. I think, you just want you life back in order.

Yeah, that's part of it. But I really do miss my things, like my vegetable steamer and my black flats.

I totally understand - it's very hard to have your stuff, but not *have* it. Frustrating really, and think most of my stuff that I keep wondering 'hay don't I have...' is somewhere right in this house, but there is just so much of it. Aargh!

I tell you what, I am *dying* to get into the new apartment, and put all my things in their places, and know precisely where each thing is. I can't wait!
