So there's these illegal immigrants, right? And some people are saying they should be legalized. My first reaction is, "Fuck that, they broke the law, they don't get to profit off of illegal behavior ( Read more... )

Illegal immigration causes a cascade of problems from the smuggling of humans (who often die in transit) to young girls sold into prostitution to people illegally employing them without paying a living wage, taxes, social security, etc. to people taking advantage of social services that should go to our own citizens to jobs lost because you can get the help for half the cost (or less) to increased violent crime. I couldn't agree more. But why are these immigrants illegal? What exactly is the immigration law? Is the immigration fee outrageous, for instance? Or do we have a quota each year from Mexico? Or are these people all simply hoodlums sneaking in for the opportunity to give birth to American children and work manual labor for higher-than-Mexico wages?

I guess May 1st is going to be a protest day. I didn't know this until there was an anouncement that said we cannot take the day off, we cannot use a personal day, and if you call in you better have a dr note. Hummm, I wasn't planning on taking the day off, but now I want to. Who the hell do they think they are telling me when I can use a day!!! I rearly take a day off; I have enoung sick days to take off about 1/4 of the year.

I've worked with many, and been close friends with several illegal immigrants. The normal undocumented immigrant does not cross over with the intention of defrauding the United States Government, taking advantage of our social services,and damage our economy ( ... )
