Is it wrong for me to be so excited about GFAJ-1? Perhaps it’s too early but... I just find it so exciting. Oh, if only Carl Sagan could have seen this!

My mom's 50th birthday tomorrow! I bought her a hard to find book (well hard to find here, anyway) online but it still hasn't arrived yet... hopefully it comes tomorrow. Well I will just have to think of something else nice to do for her until then. It would be helpful if my brother wasn't so indolent about it...

Finally finished the last novel in Stephen King’s Dark Tower series. Phew. There were parts about it I liked, parts I disliked, and parts that really just annoyed me. But all in all I think it ended well, and I’m glad I read it ( Read more... )
