Also my sister returned from 5 months in New Zealand. I find it hilarious how she thinks it’s actually hot here. Has kind of made me start to try and savor every moment of this chilly winter, because I think summer is going to be grotesque.

Today, I received a $50 tip for apparently cooking the best steak this one woman ate in her life. I then realized how shitty I am when the first thing I thought upon receiving the compliment was “I can’t wait to write in my livejournal about this!”
