Orihime heard noises... and smelled something wonderful. "Popcorn!" Hungry as usual, the girl set off skipping in the direction of the food. It seemed to be lasting an awfully long time. Maybe there was going to be a party

The addition of someone's beat surprised Derrick, and sure enough, a cheerful girl entered the kitchen. A brief moment past when he worried over what to do next. All internal, his expression remained relatively unchanged. Luckily, Orihime introduced herself and solved that problem. "Derrick. Nice to meet you."

"Here." He offered her a bowl and motioned to the rest with a tilt of his head. "As much as you like." Derrick didn't want the popcorn go to waste since he somehow made the machine pop so much. He couldn't eat it all by himself, and he doubted Derek, Spin, and Tanaka wouldn't be able to eat it all either.

[walks by the kitchen contemplating a cup of tea when he hears the sound of popcorn and peeks his head in] Oh, Derrick. Good afternoon. [That explains why he didn't hear anyone at first; the beat of younger Agent Derek is easy to miss. Tanaka comes in and sees all the popcorn.]

Is this for a party? [unlikely, but it starts a conversation]
