[...Yeah, this is a kind of suspicious thing. He's been around Mayfield long enough to know that developing a few paranoid tendencies is actually healthy.]
[Or it could just be an ordinary briefcase. After poking at it a bit and examining it, that really sort of seems to be the case. And he's really starting to wonder what could be inside-- though he oughtn't go poking around in someone else's things...]
[Well, maybe it has contact information on the inside. So opening it is perfectly logical, so that he can find out who to return it to, right?]
The clips offer no resistance, it's flipped open with ease. A surge of power will follow, though it'll take shape before Waver'll be able to react much: there's now a black cat standing a few steps in front him. It's just sitting there, looking at him unflinchingly with its bright golden eyes, not showing an ounce of hostility or -- anything, really.
Although as a magus, he may be able to identify just exactly what this cat is made out of, since even a normal person can tell by its somewhat translucent shape and coloring that it can't be ordinary at all. It's created from lumps of ether, something that puppet master magi might employ.]
[Something about this suitcase rubs her the wrong way--so obviously it requires investigation. For a moment Izumo simply stares, before reaching to pick it up to get a closer look...]

[It opens without resistance!
And then there was a ridiculous and surprisingly colorful flash of light that would remind one of a rainbow, followed by a shower of confetti exploding harmlessly in her face. If she stayed steadfast or hasn't been too phased by what seems like a harmless prank, she'll notice that inside the suitcase itself, after the lights and confettis have faded, it's... empty.
That was still rather unusual... Try looking around more, or screw that thing?]

It's definitely not empty, she may find it heavy even, but again, nothing looks really out of the ordinary...
She can take it somewhere or open it, or attempt investigating it through some other way. The street's empty too, still. What now?]
