I would normally say SPU, but they've been getting kind of shaky theologically over there lately. Which negates he reason I'd advise going there in the first place (Christian education). So I dunno, you should probably talk to people you know about it who actually go there and stuff.
It all depends on what you're looking for. Assuming you've got the money for both:
1) I'm guessing you wouldn't like the people at SPU as much because it's private. (no insult to private school kids, it's just that you don't seem like the kind who'd like private school kids) 2) Consider the fields you're looking at. If you have nothing in mind, then UW's cheaper. I'd go to SPU if there was something there that I wanted specifically. What school you go to for undergraduate school is generally inconsequential if you're going on to do graduate work.
As long as you enjoy yourself and party with me, either one. Although, I'm diametrically opposed to Josh's point of view, and I think the atmosphere of UW would be better suited to you (ie, no curfew). UW costs less too, and has a much wider array of activities, majors, students, etc.
Also, no "Lifestyle Expectations" that make sex illegal or permit discrimination based on sexuality.
