~ Regulus is sitting at a table in the library trying to study. Trying being the operative word here because the library is absolutely freezing today and so Regulus has bundled up in gloves. Regardless of whether or not one can speak from personal experience, we all know that turning the pages of books is a near impossible task with gloved hands.

Oh, hello Andy. Don't mock my gloves; it's freezing. My fingers would surely have fallen off if I didn't wear some sort of protective gear so gloves seemed a good choice this morning.

Well I tried that, of course. But Madam Pince seems to be able to sense potentially damaging spells from across the room. She seems to think that all her books will catch fire if my hands are warmer than icicles.

Fingerless? *makes a face* Alright, not only would that look awful but it would also defeat the idea of wearing gloves to keep my fingers warm.

In theory, yes. However Madam Pince goes absolutely mad if you cast them in the library. She's under the impression that all the books shall catch fire if we are allowed the slightest bit of warmth.

Why thank you, I didn't know. However it is perhaps even more difficult to read a book when your fingers are ice; these gloves are the lesser of two evils.
