I got tattooed tonight: a pink lotus in the center of my chest, with kanji above it that reads, "Although inexpensive, this dish is tasty." A friend of mine at work is Japanese and translated the sentence for me.

They caught her. In Missouri. What's weird is that I had a dream about her last night -- that I saw her in the parking lot of the grocery store, and she winked at me. In the dream I got the license plate number of the car she was in, and they caught her. Funny coincidence.

How was my morning? Funny you should ask. I work a block over from Congress Avenue, and was turned away by police when I tried to drive to work today. I made it in, after having a lovely pancake breakfast and a few hours of working at home surrounded by weasels.

Corpus was a fine show. The crowd was more or less dead during the show, but many people came up to us afterwards to say they liked it -- well, whatever.
