This was only slightly less electrifying than the original New York magazine story.

Nik Cohn sort of made the whole story up.

But we really did walk down the street that way. Thanks, Bee Gees.

Wasn't he beautiful?

And now he can't even get a handjob from a cruise-ship masseur.

Evidence that all those e-meter sessions did NOT confer the power to fulfil desires... "operating thetan" status or no.

I remember seeing Saturday Night Fever when I was very young, and my mom and I used to dance to the soundtrack in our basemen (on our shag carpet) at least once a week. Imagine my surprise when I grew up and my Saturday nights were not even a little bit like that.

You mean your mom didn't dance with you anymore?

She sure didn't, though primarily I was referring to my life generally being unlike a night at the disco in Brooklyn.

Tell me about it…I still feel slightly ridiculous dancing to the Bee Gees or Andrea True and a little less ridiculous dancing to P-funk.
