Due to Arctic Monkeys' immense popularity due to their success in London, ABC, and the phenomena that is online music, the show has been sold out for a good while now. Which is insane, since it's another two months before the show.

i cant say im sad, there's another upcoming show im eager about: Be Your Own Pet w/Someone Still Loves You Boris ( Read more... )

Spinto Band sold out their show? Holy crap! I just got the new Arctic Monkeys CD in at the station yesterday. I haven't listened to it yet, but I'll let you know how it is when I finally do.

The link to your MP3 blog is off. Make sure you put the "http://" before the rest of it.

Coachella does look amazing. I think you'd also be interested in the first part of the lineup they just announced for Bonnaroo, as well. You might have more of a chance of going to Bonnaroo because it's closer and I might be driving there this summer. We should work on plans for that. I think it would be a great experience for us to take a road trip to Tennessee to see some righteous bands. Check out the lineup. Click it!!! Now!!!!

wait...no Conestoga wagon?
im joking, the lineups are extremely impressive, and a roadtrip sounds kick-ass! They're saying the Bonnaroo lineup is kicking Coachella's buttocks, mainly because they have Radiohead, and Radiohead will only be performing at that festival.
thanks a bunch for giving me the heads-up on the link. but you can guess what im gonna say next... the host is down right now!!! that's so typical. maybe it'll work later, but it's not right now.
but yeah... arctic monkey hysteria. i'll have to find their single, it's supposed to be 'insanely catchy'

Please tell me why Arctic Monkeys are so crash-hot amazing, because I'm not feeling their innovation yet.

im not totally sure myself. maybe it's because their an indie band who's on the top of UK's charts (entered at #1, which hasn't happened since the Spice Girls), selling out shows like crazy in in USA (even though they have no relases here yet). ABC had a story on them not too long ago, SPIN magazine featured them this month, and they have David Bowie's support. it's some crazy hysteria. and the only reason theyre selling out their shows here is internet leaks and whatnot.
but all the above doesnt necessarily mean theyre great.
apparently their single is good, so i guess i'll check them out. haha

Justin Timberlake is popular too but I'm pretty sure he's not too innovative.
I still don't know why they are so oh god amazing. I just don't get it.
