I love how crushing you made both the curtain!fic and kid!fic tropes with this, haha. <333

But yeah, this is great on so many levels, and really revealing character-wise. AWESOME. Also, I prompted something very similar to this on one of the memes, so this made me EXTRA happy!

As far as the challenge goes, we can make exceptions for people who are going to be away from home/internet during the posting period. ;) You’re only a couple days off, so if you’re able to get online long enough to post a header to the comm sometime during the posting period, we will count it. Or if you want I can post a link to it during the posting period under the mod account; let me know if that’s the case.

That's what fluff tropes are for, right? I love angstified fluff tropes. :)

Oooh, awesome. Thanks so much. <3 I don't think cross posting will be a problem. It's just the big posts that my stupid on campus internet has trouble with.

Dean's so mean, but I can understand it. He doesn't quite know how to take care of himself when he's that small and innocent.

I love cute, little, stuffed-animal-holding Dean. <3

Well, you know, Dean isn't exactly a big fan of Dean. It probably doesn't help that he has that ridiculous idea in his head that he was never good enough for John and mini!Dean is a constant reminder of all the things he's been trying to fix. Which, yeah, makes him a big fat meanie.

Oh no. *blinks* I hadn't ever thought of it in quite that way before. Poor Dean with his sad, self-destructive complexes. I don't know why I love when he's broken, but I do.

Thanks for sharing this. I'd love to read more if you end up exploring this :)

OHHH! This *hurts*.

Very, very smart, insightful, beautifully written. You left a lot of gaps, and I like that in writing - you trusted us to fill them.

God, though, it's so achingly sad. This one will stay with me.

Aw, thank you so much. I haaaate it when authors spell everything out for me like I'm a pre-schooler, but sometimes I'm a afraid that I then go too far in the opposite direction and don't tell my readers anything. So, uhm, yeah, I'm super glad you liked it. :)

I think that's what I love best about it too. The fact that BOTH Deans are just in so much need of love and they both don't have much of an idea what to do with it when they get it. And poor Sam's just caught in the middle and...it's not like he's a poster child for mental health either.

This was great. I loved it!

Sad, but still somewhat hopeful.

Hopefully things improve with time.

Aw, thanks so much. I like to think that everything will sort of work out for them.
