I SIGNED A LEASE LAST NIGHT!!!

got the call from the realtor’s office yesterday around 3:30pm saying i was approved and when did i want to come in and sign the lease paperwork.

huzzah!!!
*happy dance*

so i went in yesterday evening. signed, sealed, and [almost] delivered, it’s mine! :D

well, out of luck on the cute little 2-br place i was quickly falling for, despite my best efforts to the contrary. the other couple got their stuff in and was all approved, so they get it. legally, she has to give it to the first approved applicant, so part of me is miffed going, but i got my stuff in to you that afternoon and they didn’t get it ( Read more... )

so, apartment hunting yesterday was… a trip. :) we saw good places and not-so-good places. and i got stood up by one manager who called me 20 minutes after our appointment was supposed to start (we’d left by then---the giant potholes in the parking lot and the massive number of weeds in the landscaping just didn’t give a good impression; it also ( Read more... )

well, surprisingly, i survived the weekend.

yes, that fact was doubtful, especially somewhere around friday evening.
