obsession with vanity is nothing new. It goes back farther than Cleopatra.Everywhere we look magazine, TV movies tell us what to do to be beautiful that we must be beautiful.

It certainly isn't! But usually I associate narcissism with the act of being vain, so I decided to go with narcissism in the act of not being conventionally 'vain'. XD And then it pretty much equals the same thing anyway, really.

Thanks, good to know! I was actually a bit worried because it's in first-person and acts as if it's non-fiction, but the tone is so ridiculously disdainful that I was all '... but that's so mean, what if they think it's me?' XD
