I just watched "2001: A Space Odyssey again".   I know I shouldn't have done that, but it seemed like the thing to do at the time... Anyways,  I've seen a number of Kubrick's films (Including "Eyes Wide Shut" and other more recent ones).  Many will argue that his films are revolutionary in their vision, or were groundbreaking for their time... So, my air conditioner has broken. While it's not the 105 that it was a couple weeks ago, 96 is still enough to make me hate life indoors and out. This makes it difficult to spend this week of vacation entirely in bed sleeping, as was the plan. Hopefully this isn't going to cost me a billion dollars to get fixed. Went to Howie-pa-looza. Liquor was consumed, fireworks exploded, hung out with girls that don't suck, managed to set myself on fire while having an argument in the rain, and in the end everyone came (at least) six times while being held down and having their tears used for lube.

All in all a good time. I'll have to go to Thailand next week to top
