Actually, given that it was an F2 that went through, thhe dome actually had relatively minor damage. The way it's built (with a lot of light metal joists and what looks like stretched fabric) it's almost like a big tent, which means it sways and gives during a storm rather than collapsing and imploding. From the footage I've seen, it looks like just a relatively small area in the dome itself opened up. They've got some really eerie footage of the whole top of the thing swaying in the wind though.

that stuff's scary...we had a bad one come through crossville a few years ago and the place hasn't been quite the same since. i can't recallif that was before or after we moved from sewanee. glad everything's okay with you!
