I was honored to have met you.
I give thanks for working on the premiere of Gem of the Ocean.
I'm glad I listened to you speak at the Theatre School graduation, class of 2000 and that we shared a city for a few months.
Your artistry will be missed, but appreciated for their spirit even as yours moves on.

This was a pretty chill weekend.  Friday night I went to see Crave by the Washington Ensemble Theatre, WET, www.washingtonensemble.org.  A visually stunning production.  Their design and use of space was brilliantly cinematic, literally.  They constructed a partial 4th wall furthest downstage with a wide rectangular hole in it, same as a movie ( Read more... )

My airfare has been booked. I just couldn't not jump on the $89 promotional fare on Southwest Airlines.

I'll be arriving in Chicago on Monday Dec. 5th, departure date yet to be figured out, but somewhere around the 17th.

So the next question is, who has a sofa/bed they'd care to share with me. :) I'll make it worth your while, I promise. ;-)

The opening for Cathay: Three Tales of China was last night.

I have never been a part of creating a show as beautiful as this one.

I'd never seen a puppet performance either and I was blown away at the life in these puppets!  I cried.  The puppets made me cry.  Brilliant!  The stories were touching, I loved the few touch-up's Joyce did on the wigs ( Read more... )
