Thank you so much! I don't think I'm really new, so much as a year-long lurker who finally decided to get off her butt and try to participate, hehe :) I'm so glad you liked it! And I really appreciate your kind words, they're incredibly encouraging :)
I love rock climbing too! It really reduces you to core elements, I think
I definitely plan to, time to sweep out those cobwebs and try to breathe some life back into it :) Thank you so much! I'm always really pleasantly surprised by how nice everyone in Flame is, hehe
That is SO true. Whenever I climb, I feel like there's no muscle in my body that goes unscathed. I stopped a few years ago because of other time commitments, but I've been slowly working back into it and am just amazed at how demanding it is!
It's clear you've actually done this, from the details, lingo and insider view. Most entertaining. I personally find the idea of rock climbing only slightly less abhorrent than a root canal (and I'm dental phobic) so it would be a powerful lust to get me out there... and somehow you've managed to convey this potency sincerely. I think she's made him live a little more... bravely if crazily. Thanks for a fun read!
Thank you so much! There was a time where I absolutely hated rock climbing-- a friend forced me to go, and I'm not really an excercise-y type ;) I felt like I was sort of injecting two sides of myself into the story, though I typically try to avoid doing that.
