Oh, I am so happy today! I'm not entirely sure why, but life feels really nice at the moment. Jacket-with-soft-insides-fresh-from-the-dryer nice. Somehow, autumn always makes me feel elated and buoyant. Funny how my feelings of happiness are all associated with swelling and lift.

I've known the thrill of a swing competition, but never the Lindy Hop-- not like that, anyway. It's been so long though, so I guess it's off to lessons for me. . . man, I hate starting things over!
